What a glorious morning Immy and I had on Tuesday meeting up with my twitter friends Aillie, Mrs Scoops (plus little Sid) and Poppy! Aillie and her mummy put on a beautiful spread of cakes and treats, we were thoroughly spoilt! It was so so lovely to spend quality time with like-minded people. Isn’t twitter amazing?! I never would have thought a year ago that I could have such frank conversations with people I had never met within a community I only knew about because of Stephen Fry’s witty little anecdotes! Our world is really starting to open up through this forum! I like to refer to it as the ‘Linked In’ for creative people and so it is I believe! How else would I have met such a diverse spectrum of inspiring and artistic souls, I do not know…. xxx
I’ve had a pretty lazy day today, which was lovely, sometimes it’s just lovely to do very little indeed isn’t it?! We had a friend pop round for coffee with her wee man but apart from that just toys, cuddles and cartoons! So in light of that mantra I took the opportunity to play around with my new camera, my D700! Which can I say, I LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY! She is my tool for life, my tool for mirroring the world in a way I never thought possible. So here are a couple of self portraits on my favourite settings for low light (there’s been a lot of that this summer!). Ooh and one of my little beauty of course! xx
